The Center for Health Leadership & Practice (CHLP), a Center of the Public Health Institute, is a non-profit leadership training, consultation, and resource center serving domestic and international health leaders and organizations. The Center has been a pioneer in leadership development programs and consultation since 1991.
Capability Statement
The Center for Health Leadership & Practice has designed and implemented a full range of leadership development programs and consultation activities targeted to the public and private health sectors, the community sector, and academia. We assess leadership development needs, design strategies, and implement leadership development, mentoring, coaching and succession planning, and cultural proficiency activities and programs - from targeted organizational consultation and half-day workshops to full-scale year-long programs. The Center develops established positional leaders to maximize their leadership potential and grow the emerging leader. Our emphasis is on developing the next generation of leaders in the health and human services sectors.
